Children age Newborn to 12 years

The Kirby Kangaroo account is geared towards children age newborn to 11 years. This accounts primary objective is to educate children about credit unions and to assist young members in establishing good savings habits.  Each time they deposit into their Kirby Kangaroo account they receive “Kirby Credits”.  These credits can be used to purchase Kirby merchandise available at our credit union.

Each child when opening their account is automatically enrolled and receives the following:

• Kirby Kangaroo tattoo
• Kirby Kangaroo passbook
• Kirby Kangaroo newsletter (received quarterly through the mail)
• Access to Kirby Kangaroo website for games and educational activities
